6 months of the year, we have 2nd short council meeting prior to the lecturer program.
This is to catchup the membership on council business and starts at 730pm and ends at 8pm
These eeeting take place in the months Jan-April and Sept-Oct each year
Every Saturday, Knights and friends organize Mass for residents of this veterans’ residential facility. There is no sign-up, no commitment, no strings …if you’re available this Saturday, give us a hand! We need ushers, Eucharistic ministers, musicians, and lectors. Or just sit with the residents and smile. It is incredibly rewarding.
We meet in the Community Room of Building 19. If you are new to the campus, go to the main entrance. We’re just a few steps away and the greeter will point you to our makeshift chapel.
This is a great opportunity to thank our veterans and their families. It’s also a fun way to meet other KofC families. We are profoundly grateful to priests of our archdiocese who also volunteer their time as celebrants.
Help us feed Richfield’s poor and needy. Our council takes a turn (along with other charities and corporate groups) operating a soup kitchen that routinely feeds 100 people a night, many of them children. It’s a corporal work of mercy. Bring a hat (foodservice rules) and dress casually. We train.
Help us get the word out! Our team promotes the Knights of Columbus Marian Council’s activities, informs the community of its contributions, encourages participation and membership growth, and manages the KofC brand locally. We serve as thought leaders and maintain the council’s digital media resources. We interact with local and national media. You do not have to be a Knight to help.
