Once again the Ladies Auxiliary Silent Auction is history. As you all know, this is our main fundraising event of the year and it takes a lot of effort to accomplish. When I asked many of you for assistance, you stepped forward with your treasures and talents to make it a success. Some took letters to area businesses seeking prizes while others donated items they had made or purchased. Still others volunteered their time that evening to make it all happen. Everything was very much appreciated; for without your efforts it would not have been such a success. We made a total of $3,400 which will go to local charities. This is more than we have ever made in the past. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Putting together the auction in a big job and although I am willing to do it again next year, I desperately need a co-chair. Please consider stepping forward and fill- ing that position. It’s not as hard as you think and together we could make it even bigger.
