Annual Memorial Day Parage from Zeigler Cat to Bloomington Cemetary Lyndale Avenue at 104th Street
We’re looking for Meagher Assembly volunteers to march in the Bloomington Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29th, 2017. We will assemble at Ziegler’s near 94th Street and Bryant Avenue again. Assemble time is at 8:30 a.m. and the Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. The Parade goes south on Lyndale Avenue to the Bloomington Cemetery (Approximately 103rd Street). We will wear full Regalia. We need volunteers to carry the U.S. Flag and the Meagher Assembly Banner. 3rd Degree Knight Tony Spano will be driving his Grey 2010 Volvo Hard Top Convertible.
We will be looking for ways of transportation back to Ziegler’s after the program at the Bloomington Cemetery—Family members or ? It is great to have transportation for the marchers back to their cars—Thank you.
Last year they had coffee and rolls before the parade and a cash bar at the VFW/American Legion afterwards—not confirmed for this year yet.
