Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Opportunity

Brother Knights,

We are sending this out to all of our members as an opportunity to volunteer for a very worthy project. You are certainly welcome to join us in this worthy endeavor. We are putting this in each respective parish bulletins as well.

The Knights of Columbus St. George Council #3758 is joining in a project sponsored by St. Joseph’s Parish of New Hope to build 2 million meals for Feed My Starving Children.

The KC’s invite all families and their children 12 and older to join in the project. The meals will be assembled at a location in Champlin. The time scheduled to serve is 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday February 24th and can accommodate 500 people. We encourage and appreciate your participation.

This could be a wonderful addition to your family Lenten observation.

Please visit to register and get location and direction information.

Vivat Jesus!

Yes, It Was Great…700 Plus Great!

20150117 StEdPCB

Sunday January 17th was the St. Ed’s Pancake Breakfast.  Over 700 were served who came out in support of one of our parishes, despite the frigid temperature.  Inside was hot coffee, warm pancakes with melting butter, the usual trimmings and friends to see and catch-up with.

The proceeds will go towards retiring the loan for the new Grand Piano that is in the worship space.

There were 70 volunteers contributing 418 hours of their time on a Sunday morning.

But this is what KC’s do.

Help our parishes.  Be a positive, happy force in our community today.  Make a better future for tomorrow

You should join this kind of outfit.
